Dear Eagles,

It has now been one year since we at The Coaching Center became  the sponsor of the "Original and Legendary Dental Boot Kamp"!  It has been a successful year, with 4 public Dental Boot Kamp's and 8 Privately sponsored Dental Boot Kamps over the course of the year.  While the Boot Kamp is evolving, the fundamental program remains as relevant today as it did when Walter Hailey began offering them 20 years ago!

Over the years we have gotten many inquiries about Video, Audio and other relevant "Walter" material.  Many people have wanted to share this unique man with their team and their family.  Over the next several months we will be making part of our library of material available to customers and subscribers to "The Ripple Effect", so stay tuned!

In particular, over the years we have had many inquiries about the quotes, or "Walter'isms" that are posted on the walls during the Dental Boot Kamp.  While many of the quotes did not originate with Walter, he certainly took ownership of them and used them effectively to communicate the principals in the Dental Boot Kamp.

Consider this:

  1. The railroad companies thought they were in the railroad business. This was a myopic view. They were really in the transportation business, transporting passengers from one place to another.  Does that make sense to you? This myopic thinking severely cost them. 

  2. The telegraph companies thought they were in the telegraph business. Not so. They were in the communication business and missed huge opportunities to expand their business by opting out on the purchase of the Alexander Graham Bell patents for $40,000!
